Concept
Above all, it is a place, or rather a series of ephemeral, atypical, sometimes raw, sometimes unusual places, chosen for their character and resonance. These spaces become the setting for unexpected encounters between works, artists and the public.
The story of Aremy & Lask
When they met at the Paris Art Capital exhibition, Aremy and Lask decided to put their worlds together in a unique, deeply human, and 100% artistic project.
Their paintings tell different stories, but they’re guided by a shared sensibility.
It’s a vision with two voices, two styles, and a single language: pure emotion, living matter, and an inner gaze that talks to the world.
It is not just about exhibiting side by side, but about creating an experience around painting and French art.
This merger led to the creation of the concept: Aremy & Lask.
LASK
Valérie is a French artist whose life story is as powerful as her artwork. She started out as a journalist, but then cancer turned her world upside down. Two years in a wheelchair and a deep inner journey brought her to write a deeply moving slam poem, which is now used as a tool in the fight against cancer.
Her rebirth came through painting, an intimate language she developed with passion and audacity. LASK creates her own colours, infusing the canvas with a unique energy that oscillates between abstraction and impressionism. She is a committed, visionary artist who transforms hardship into something beautiful.
Aremy
Aremy, born in 1972, is a French painter who grew up in Europe, Africa, South America, and the United States, which has influenced her work. A former lawyer, she has devoted herself to painting since 2001 after a career change.
Self-taught, her art is characterized by a sensory and emotional approach, using large canvases and material worked with a knife to create contrasts and expressive forms. She seeks to express poetry, lightness and light through her works.
